He is the modern batting great of Pakistan Cricket. After retirement of Muhammad Yousuf and Inzmam he is the only senior batsman in the team with batting average of over 50 in Test Matches. There is not doubt about his class and batting skills as he is only third Pakistani batsman to score triple century in Test Match Cricket. Younis Khan is also ex-captain of Pakistan Cricket Team and Pakistan won ICC World Twenty20 in 2009 under his leadership.
Muhammad Younus Khan was born on 29 November 1977 in Mardan Pakistan. Younus’s name often spelled as Younis and he himself said that, “My Name is Younus Khan. I tell people that everywhere, but they don’t listen”. This right-handed batsman made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka at Karachi in February 2000 and since than he is permanent member of Pakistan Cricket Team. He was also involved in some controversies regarding captainship of team and finally he refused to accept captaincy and decided to play as batsman.
